Friday Afternoon Date with Pop

For Father's Day we took Pop out for lunch and then to the Children's Aquarium (since we all know he is a big kid). We had so much fun and while they discovered all the fish in each aquarium I snapped alot of pictures!
I LOVE this picture.
BEWARE... below the
next couple of pictures is Harper working her Pop to get him to buy her anything from the gift shop.
And then the "PSH" (AKA- please)
SHARK!
Stingray!
We had so much fun today with Pop. I'm so glad that Harper has her Pop close and is able to do fun things like this with him. I miss my Pop, but it's real fun to see my dad as a Pop now! How blessed is Harper to have such a great man as her grandfather. :) Love you Dad.

More FL pics

I got some more pictures that Elizabeth had taken on her camera and had to share. Harper is taking her nap right now so I'm able to do another post. Right after lunch I said, "Ready for night night?" Harper responded, "Nigh Nigh Momma." I froze for a moment and tried not to cry (me cry- I know weird) before I told her what a big girl she was and went to lay her down. Love her!

This picture really shows how much H liked playing in the sand
So cute! There was actually water on both sides of the babies because it was a sand shelf. They loved running up and down it. Yeah for the beach. :)

We always enjoy going to the Frisco Public Library and this summer Harper is in the toddler story time class. She of course loved it, but she did surprise me by interacting so much with the librarians and enjoying it as much as she did. Her friend Cohen met us up there and we even saw another girl from her preschool class and another CFB mom and her son. Mother Goose rhymes, reads, and sings. She was great!

Beach Vacay

We had the chance to go to Florida at the start of summer and it was H's first time to go to the beach. It was so fun to see her soak it all in and watch to figure out the waves, sand, seashells, seagulls, etc. By the last day she was putting her face in the sea water, splashing, and chasing seagulls. We had an awesome beach house where we had a huge backyard and were able to swim, hang out, grill, and watch the yachts come in and out down the waterway. We had so many pictures and it was hard to only choose a few, but I just chose some that were my favorites. Enjoy your summer as much as we are!

We spent the week with Elizabeth, Steve, Andrew, Allison, Darren, Elise, and Conner. It was a great time with good friends, food, and of course the BEACH!

Yeah it's Summer!

Harper had so much fun at our Memorial Cookout. It was a good day filled with fun, friends, and family.
H had to get used to the kiddie pools, but we went out the next day and she got in and splashed around. She then had a blast at her preschool Splash Day and at her friend Liam's birthday party where there were pools. We are out of school for the summer and I can't wait to do so many fun things with her- starting with our beach trip in June!

Zoo Day!

We had so much fun taking Harper to the zoo. It was awesome weather and the zoo wasn't even crowded. I posted some pictures from the day and at the bottom are some video clips. :)
Harper loved the real gorilla and these statues. So much she gave hugs!
The Koi fish were fun... until I got splashed while Brett and Harper fed them!
The Butterfly Garden- my favorite! We actually touched a butterfly and then sat in the butterfly seat. :)
Partying with the Penguins
I love this picture. This was the end of our zoo day and she was way past due for a nap. To me it's not just a cute picture, it really shows how blessed we are with such a relaxed and mellow baby. I love that sweet smile.
Besides the $13 sunscreen we bought because we forgot ours, we really didn't spend that much money since Justin's dad got us zoo tickets and we brought drinks and snacks. So... we had to buy Harper her own gorilla to take home since that was her favorite animal. Here she is hugging it on the way out.
Here are some video clips of our day! Only 2 of the 5 downloaded fast so I'll add more tomorrow.
